While the sportsbook operator was not named in the statement, the hackers targeted DraftKings in the breach, CNBC previously reported in May. The plea was made nearly 12 months after DraftKings confirmed that a number of bettors had their online accounts compromised through irregular activity on other third-party sites last November.
